Foggy Night

i love the mist, especially at night. it's like the future. you can only see a few steps ahead at a time. the mystery of it. the adventure of it. things half unseen. areas of light and darkness that loom ahead . . .

Hot Dogs
if i didn't trust in a higher power, i'd swear the universe wired me wrong. sometimes i feel like i miss all the important details, but catch the little obscure ones. but maybe that's what i was intended to do. to see things others don't. to see black and white. to notice little details and miss the obvious. the sound of a harley cruising down the street, a fallen leaf, the aged beauty of bricks, the warmth of close friends, the bitter-sweet beauty of growing older . . .

Road Narrows
i tend to spend too much time inside my own head. photography gives me a way to focus outside myself. to forget my personal demons and marvel at the beauty that surrounds us all. it's the little details that bring amazement at the miracles of the universe. stop, look. pay attention and get outside of yourself . . .
